Artist's statement: Art is something that has always helped me with my illness. It has been a pleasant escape from life's problems an oasis so to speak. The kind of illness I suffer from is social phobia and depression so isolation has been a big part of my life. A lot of my art is fantasy and surreal. I found that if I created a world in my head that was safe this helped me cope. Other than art being a good friend it has always been something pleasurable and fun. I hope I can continue to grow as an artist and explore new mediums.

Artist's Biography: I also enjoy writing poetry and prose. Also playing guitar.
