Artist's statement: Art is the medium through which I am able to express my innermost self. All of my paintings reflect my feelings. I am not an artist who is capable of recreating what she sees; and every painting is a reflection of what I feel. What appears on the canvas is as much of a revelation to me as it is to the viewer as I do not set out to paint anything specific but rather tune into what I am feeling while I am mixing my paints. Many faces show up in my paintings through blending and I feel that these faces are part of who I am or are a reflection of spirits in the spirit world.

Artist's Biography: I am self-taught as an artist and have no formal training whatsoever in painting; oil or otherwise. Each canvas is a unique representation of myself in some fashion or other.
