Artist's statement: I call myself a self-teaching, mixed-up media artist. Others often call me just plain mixed-up. My art reflects my love of theater and film; I love fantasy, emotion, mystery and the dramatic! I am fascinated by the process of placing a blank canvas on an easel, and hours (or days?) later, seeing a finished painting sitting there, waiting for it’s final touch, the signature!

Artist's Biography: Artist/filmmaker Lee Sjostrom is creatively prolific and diverse. Over the years, she’s participated in several solo and many group art exhibits, has been featured in several film festivals and even produced, directed, edited and starred in her own cable TV series in Hollywood. As well as composing for and singing with various bands, she’s had her own arts’ column and comic strip in a newspaper. Lee's paintings hang in the homes of people all over the world: Canada, United States, Sweden, Finland, France, Poland and New Zealand. Also having been a production designer and set dresser, her art is background on the sets of many films.
